Website development in Estonia
Custom websites for companies operating in Estonia — written from scratch, fast, and built so Google can actually read them. Fixed price agreed up front, live in days rather than months.
What the build includes
- Design based on your business, not a purchased theme
- Mobile layout — most visitors arrive on a phone
- Contact or booking form wired to your inbox
- Domain, hosting and SSL configured for you
- Technical SEO: metadata, sitemap, structured data, load speed
- Analytics and Search Console set up and verified
Built for people running a company from abroad
Plenty of Estonian companies are run by founders who are not in Estonia. That works fine for a website project: the brief, the reviews and the handover all happen remotely, and everything is invoiced by an Estonian company in euros with no VAT added.
You deal directly with the person building the site, so questions get an answer the same day instead of passing through an account manager first.
Why not a template
A themed site is quick to stand up and slow to live with. It ships code your site never uses, every plugin is another thing to keep patched, and the result looks like the thousand other sites on the same theme. Writing only what the site needs is what makes it load quickly — and load speed is something Google measures rather than takes your word for.

Frequently asked questions
What does a website cost in Estonia?
A one-page site starts at €299, a multi-page business site at €799, and a larger custom build at €1,499. The price is agreed before work starts and does not move during the project. Kodar Tarkvara OÜ is not VAT-registered, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay.
How long does it take?
Most sites go live within 3–7 working days, and a simple landing page can be ready in two. The timeline usually depends on how quickly the text and images arrive rather than on the build itself.
Do you use WordPress?
No. Every site is written from scratch in Next.js and React, so there is no theme carrying code your site never uses and no stack of plugins to keep patched. That is what keeps the pages fast, which Google measures directly as part of ranking.
Can you work with a company registered through e-Residency?
Yes. A large share of the work here is for Estonian companies run from abroad. Contracts, invoices and payments are handled by an Estonian company, and everything can be done remotely — no visit to Tallinn is required at any point.
Who owns the code when it is finished?
You do. The full source code is handed over and the site is yours to move or modify. There is no lock-in and no licence you have to keep paying for. Ongoing upkeep is available from €59 a month if you would rather not maintain it yourself.
Can the site be in more than one language?
Yes, and each language gets its own URL so search engines can index and rank both — which is how this site itself is built. A language toggle that only swaps text in the browser leaves the second language invisible to Google.
